Church Brunch Sunday - 1st Sunday of the month
Church Brunch is for anyone who enjoys a hearty breakfast and worshipping the Lord.
The Brunch is a laid back, friendly event where a generous smorgasbord meal is followed by a Holy Communion church service.
2017: 5 February, 5 March, 2 April, 7 May, 4 June, 2 July, 6 August, 3 September, 1 October, 5 November, 3 December.
We have Church Brunch because, people who eat together develop relationships beyond just nodding acquaintanceship. Brunch is designed to get people together, talking and eating so that their worship of God then becomes a community experience. People enjoy bringing their contribution to the meal and having the opportunity to give to others and receive, in return, the contributions of others. People sit at tables on chairs rather than on pews, in rows.
Church Brunch is a unique experience, and continues the Christian tradition of breaking bread together and sharing with our neighbours.

Cafe Church for All Ages - 3rd Sunday of the month
The Cafe Church is designed to appeal to every member of the St Mark’s community. There is content for the adults, and children are considered at every stage of the service.
The urn is on high and cups of tea and coffee are available before, during or after the service. There are always action songs, visual aids and good story telling as well as solid teaching and celebration of Holy Communion. There is frequently wildlife – so far a hen and a cat – who knows what next? This service is quite hands on with different fun elements and surprises every month.
2017: 19 February, 19 March, 21 May, 18 June, 16 July, 20 August, 17 September, 15 October, 19 November.
St Marks is a congregation with a wide age spread from primary school aged children to the elderly. We are committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of all our members, no matter their age, and in expressing our faith as a community of worshippers.
Whether you have a large family or none at all, you will find a welcoming worshipping community at St Marks.
