Children's Programs at St Marks Children are valued members of our community. Children are welcome to get an activity pack and stay in the service or go out for children's activities and an age appropriate teaching time. The topics in the teaching will cover the same content as in the readings and sermon that the adult have. This will enable parents to discuss with their children what they learnt, for example the learnings from the Parable of the Lost Sheep, that we are all valued members of the community, or Good Samaritan, to have compassion for others. Many of the Parables that Jesus taught, and the Christian story underpin our society, from our language, laws, music, art, literature, education, health, to our welfare system. We think that it is important for children to hear these stories, and the values that they teach, such as faith, hope and love.
